Introduction
It is a great pleasure to announce the Fourth ASEM Interfaith Dialogue that will be co-organised by the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands and Thailand and will be hosted by the City of Amsterdam in the Netherlands. The Fourth ASEM Interfaith Dialogue will take place from Tuesday June 3rd to Thursday June 5th, 2008.
The Interfaith Dialogue process is an important and significant element of the overall Asia-Europe (ASEM) relationship. The preceding three conferences in Bali (2005), Larnaca (2006) en Nanjing (2007), helped create attention for the Interfaith Dialogue process within the ASEM community. This years' dialogue will have the overall theme:
"Interfaith Dialogue in Practice; Sharing Best Practices" and will build on previously obtained results.
